Our R&D is equipped with a sophisticated infrastructure and the best of skill sets in each requisite field. Amongst the facilities in our R&D, we have advanced equipment in the laboratories for physical, analytical, micro-biological and chemical testing. In addition, there is also an in-house facility for state-of the art prototyping, testing and validation. The laboratory and testing area is spread over 5000+ sq. ft. A team of more than 25 scientists and engineers work round the clock on developing new technologies and products.

Our R&D has developed some innovative treatment technologies using chemicals for sewage treatment. These are most suitable for applying in residential complexes, hotels, resorts and other urban buildings. These work in extreme temperature conditions and are suitable for switch-on switch-off type of operation under varying load conditions.

There is also an advanced biological treatment developed under the brand name ECO-R. This treatment technology has many unique features which gives it some special advantages for operating under varying load conditions. It produces substantially low quantities of sludge and has the ability to effect nitrification, de-nitrification for desired nutrient removal levels. ECO-R has been designed as a modular system and can be applied for small capacities starting from 10 m3/day upto 1 MLD. The same technology can be scaled upwards to any large capacity for municipal, industrial and township level of treatment as required.

A major innovation achieved in the R&D laboratory is the development of personalized Home STP (ECO-H) applicable for individual households/ farmhouses and smaller complexes. It is a compact, packaged system which can be made to merge aesthetically with surrounding areas. It is the only biological treatment system suitable for intermittent operation, if needed.

The Engineering group within our R&D boasts of personnel with very high level of Electronics & Instrumentation skills. All products have been provided with state-of-the-art automation as standard feature, based on PLCs using Micro-Controllers with SMT technology. This has led to very high reliability levels of the equipment leading to negligible manual intervention.

All our products are designed to meet and exceed regulatory standards and have the possibility of module addition in the upstream or downstream, to meet customer specific requirements.
